Hello, I'm Gabrielle.
I'm re-doing my website and realizing my "about me" only really describes me in relation to photography. I'll leave that boring (but useful) about me below. Read further to see what I'm really all about!
After taking many art classes in high school, photography became a passion of mine. I have turned my hobby into something more by pursuing photography in college. I now have a Bachelor's degree in Cinema & Photography with a Photo Concentration from Ithaca College.
Remembering the wedding planning process myself, I know how a certain vendor can make or break your perfect vision. I have years of experience in making sure the day is as stress-free as possible (at least as far as photos go.) Also being part of a family of 7, I have learned a great deal of patience, which comes in handy when doing group shots or family shoots.
I love being a photographer because I love seeing love! I have many memories of looking back at old photos with my family around the table and hope that one day you will be able to do the same with the photos I provide to you.
People don't even really call me Gabrielle (even though I wouldn't care if they did). They call me Gabe!
Yes, I really do love photography and am so blessed to be able to ya know, be my own boss and things like that. Besides that, what really gets me going? Food! If you want to talk about food, just stop before you start, because I could talk about a single meal for probably 15 minutes. What can I say? My mama knows how good she cooks because I just won't shut up about it.
Another large part of my identity, if not the whole thing, is family. Yes, that sounds cliché, but it's the truth. I've got two little ones, so I am deep in the throes of motherhood. Sleepless nights, cooking 4x a day, dancing in the kitchen, yogurt in my hair. Don't ever think your wedding is too chaotic for me, I get chaos. It has taught me to go with the flow and problem-solve more than anything else I've ever done. It's also crafted me into a judgment-free zone...because like I said...I've had yogurt in my hair. There are things much more embarrassing than that, but I'll leave them out!
Hmm...What else is there to know? I probably watch too much Netflix. I feel like you're either a person who loves The Office or doesn't. Well, I am someone who does, if that tells you anything about my sense of humor. Basically, I will laugh at anything.
I can't wait to get to know you & yours!!
